In recent years, the traditional concept of home automation —based on closed, rigid and high-cost systems— has been completely superseded by the IoT (Internet of Things) . IoT refers to the intelligent interconnection of everyday objects and equipment through data networks, allowing sensors, actuators and appliances to exchange information in real time to automate tasks and optimize consumption without interruption. At ImmoGirona we take advantage of this technological evolution to transform homes into efficient, safe and 100% personalized properties, integrating all this complexity under a single private, intuitive and centralized interface through Home Assistant and ESPHome .
One of the biggest problems with commercial home automation is fragmentation and dependence on remote servers: most conventional devices force you to be connected to the cloud of an unknown Chinese company , with the privacy risks and service failures that this entails. At ImmoGirona we eliminate this barrier by combining Zigbee network structures (ideal for low-power sensorization), Wi-Fi and highly reliable Ethernet connections, processing all data 100% locally:
Access control and closures: Integration of smart locks such as Nuki or Yeelock , and automation of blinds, awnings and curtains ( Somfy , Athom ).
Comprehensive air conditioning and IR emulation: Management of modern and old air conditioning equipment (LG or other brands) through the emulation of infrared (IR) signals and integration of the central boiler, controlling the setpoint and consumption of each area of the home.
Energy and security: Real-time consumption monitoring and power relays ( Shelly , Sonoff ), along with IP video surveillance systems ( Reolink ).
We go far beyond turning on lights or opening doors. We implement engineering solutions for energy management and critical areas of the home:
Consumption control and photovoltaic integration: Monitoring of global and circuit electricity consumption in real time, coordinated with the electricity generation of solar panels to maximize self-consumption and optimize loads.
Automatic pool management: Real-time monitoring and regulation of pH levels and chlorine (hypochlorite) dosage, as well as automatic control of filtration cycles, circulation pumps and measurement of accumulated water flow.
Environmental safety and prevention: Integration of temperature, humidity and gas detection sensors that act automatically by cutting off the supply or activating ventilation in the event of any anomaly.
The platform allows access management that can be adapted to each situation. Different user roles can be configured with restricted permissions (for family members, tenants, cleaning or pool maintenance personnel), ensuring that each profile can only act on authorized devices. In addition, the system integrates the same centralized App and Telegram bots programmed to send alerts and immediate notifications to the mobile phone in the event of any incident, such as water leaks, intrusions, sudden temperature changes or deviations in the pool's chemical levels.
